A big Thank You to all the groups and individuals who 'Adopted a Romanian Family' for this years Drop in the Ocean Humanitarian Aid Trip.
All the team at Oak Tree have been overwelmed by the enthusiasm, hard work and generosity you have all shown and we are sure that your families will be delighted with your gifts of help.
Between you and us we have packed clothing and other basic aid items for over 250 individuals in the two villages of Gageni & Danes. The warm clothing will come into good use as winter approaches.
All the Family Boxes have now been completed and we are busily preparing all the paperwork in readiness for them, and the rest of the aid, to be transported by artic wagon overland.

Thank you for volunteering to help us by 'adopting' a Romanian family ( or two or three ) and offering to collect and pack family boxes.
We will do all we can to help you and are just a telephone call/email away.
If you should need anything let us know.
Don't forget that when you are ready to actually pack the boxes give us a call and we will come along and show you what needs to be done.
The boxes need to be packed a certain way to ensure they are packed very tight and can be stored, moved, loaded/unloaded and arrive undamaged after a 2000 mile overland wagon trip accross Europe.
Doing it our way will ensure the boxes do not break open losing their valuable contents and 'your' family will get everything you packed for them.

On this page you will find details of clothing and other items which we have in stock and are available to any of the volunteer Adopt a Family support groups.
If you are short of a particular item of clothing or footwear please have a look at the following list to see if we have anything in out warehouse which you could use.
If you spot something you want for your family just send us an email giving the item number and description.
Don't forget to tell us who you are and if possible give us a telephone number so we can contact you.
We will check that we still have the item in the warehouse and, if we do, it will be pulled out and the item/s will be got to you.
Please use this service as many times as you want.
If there is something you need that is not on the list please send us an email telling us what it is that you are short of. We may be that we have it but it does not appear on the list.
We will try to keep the information on the list up to date and as acurate as possible.
